Our Leadership

Virtus Resource Group was founded by Brent Cuevas, a procurement and construction executive with more than 20 years of experience leading complex projects, developing strategic partnerships, and delivering solutions for government, tribal, commercial, and institutional clients.

Throughout his career, Brent has served in senior leadership roles — including President of a regional commercial general contracting company — overseeing the procurement and contract administration of hundreds of millions of dollars in construction materials, equipment, and professional services. He has built long-standing relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers nationwide, developing deep expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract administration, and risk management.

Brent has successfully supported projects for numerous federal and tribal agencies, including the Department of the Navy, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Marine Corps, Army, Indian Health Service (IHS), Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), and Tribal Governments throughout the Southwest. This experience has given him a comprehensive understanding of federal procurement requirements, regulatory compliance, and the disciplined execution required to support mission-critical organizations.

Brent holds a Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University and a Master of Science in Construction Management and Technology from Arizona State University. His combination of advanced education and executive experience drives Virtus Resource Group's commitment to integrity, accountability, and delivering practical procurement solutions that create lasting value for every client.
